Since it is also an effect in real life (i.e. you can also see similar effects with our live eyes), sometimes it may just be a viewport when it is unavoidable.

If you have access to a 64 bit computer with relatively much RAM, you can always export to Kerkythea from Twilight and render there. Yet true that it does not need to be too much bigger than what you already have.

Yes, it does. If you watch the video posted in the first post, there Fredo demonstrates how it works with skewed angles, too. A must-have plugin I can tell.
