Wow, very big improvements. Its good. The floor needs a bit of something, but overall, great lighting and I like the lamp.

Half yes, half no. 8-) Wings3D does have some great UV mapping tools, so it's always a good suggestion. The problem is getting the geometry out of SU (unless you have pro). I use the obj importer ruby (I think by TIG?) to get the geometry back into SketchUp (unless, I suppose, you have pro).
