Re: Removing Kerky material library

No "virtualstore" folder either? I think that Windows 7 will put the libraries in a virtual store if you use KT to install the material library from a zipped folder. Maybe it's the same for Twilight? Type "virtualstore" (with no space) in the search box of your comp, open the fol...

Re: Removing Kerky material library

I normally install new libraries simply by putting them in the right folder manually and I don't have TWR 1.5 atm so I don't know if that helps, but see if the "0ptions" window tells you something about the location of the mat folders (you have to press the little gear icon in TWR's toolba...

Re: Removing Kerky material library

If you are on windows just go to:
C-->Programs(x86)-->Google--> Google Sketchup (the version you have)-->Plugins-->Twilight-->Materials
and delete the mat folder you want. Restart SU then.

Re: Astronomy and Afterschool centre

One thing i noticed is that Kerky does not recognise invisible plane lights..or maybe i just did something wrong.. I think it does. In TWR just apply a material on the face then apply an emitter template and select "invisible" in the emitter's menu in the material editor. Then export as x...

Re: Rectangular Light

Hi, sure. Just apply a color to a surface, then pick the material's eyedropper and apply an emitter template. Then you can change color, power etc. and also choose from normal, fake, IES and invisible light. :)

Re: glass coating

A picture would help. Anyway if you need something like the picture below just use Fredo's joint pushpull plugin to model an outer shell. Select the surface-->press the Joint pushpull icon (the one with a little "J")-->press TAB on your keyboard-->choose thickening-->click on the surface a...

Re: Texture Question

I suspect a back (blue) face issue (check that by pressing the monochrome button). If so: 1) Pick from the model the map of the tree with the eyedropper; 2) push the monochrome button, double click to "open" the component-->right click-->revese faces. 3) press the "shaded with texture...

Re: component render

It's a back face issue. 3d Warehouse's models are often such a mess... :? -enable hidden geometry under view-->hidden geometry in order to see the outline; -sample the texture with the eyedropper; -pick the select tool and open the component with a double click then right click-->reverse faces; -pic...

Here is my comment: why are you posting exactly the same images on both Thea and Twilight forum?

Are them made with Thea or Twilight?

Re: Lakeside

I wanted to add the Hidden Line overlay but couldn't figure how to render it properly. I was expecting a white background with lines but wasn't getting that. Back to the manual :( Actually you can't render that. Just export a 2d image of the same size from Sketchup in "hidden line" style ...
