i think you could build this setup for about 2 grand but im not sure, a quality case is needed if you want it to be quiet ( and to look nice ) the bad thing about less sound is that it usually means less air cooling, A quiet case usually is meant for a water cooled system, the case i have is a Cosm...

It's a great looking board. I wonder if you did try interior+, if not, you should - that glass might give some nice caustics from the Sun.

There is a 64-bit development version of KT, that is partially tested. But it will take a while to get that ready, because of Thea Render development.

Never actually used this, but does it have .hdr support. Release notes gives impression that it does not have.
