Re: Shaken Not Stirred
Looking good there! :hat: Only thing is, that everything in the scene looks perfectly clean. Maybe you could add some fingerprints or smudges to the glass or the bottles, that would make for some nice detail. Also.. I can't really tell what but something about those tongs is sticking out to m...

Re: Interior Island Home
Good job there, the renders look amazing imo.
Now it could be just me, but I think adding a subtle lens flare to the lights, especially those with just the bare bulb hanging down would be a nice touch. But other than that they look great

Re: Subway tunnel
Thank you, that helps me to get to know, how you did that brilliant render! No problem, hope it helps ;) Now, this is probably my last post on this topic for a while, as I'll have to put the project on hold until I'm home for long enough to render all the frames for the animation on my desktop (I i...

Re: Subway tunnel
When something is overly reflective, the first thing is to check that you have front faces showing. When a material is applied to the wrong side, it will often render very reflective. Yep! My faces were a mess, didn't even realise that. But got that all sorted out, and now it renders just fine. I w...

Re: Subway tunnel
So Im working on the train rn, and I keep getting this material artifact with the ridges on the side of the train. At the ends of the cars (1) they have the same specularity as the rest of the side, which is good, but in the middle parts (2) they have a much higher specularity making them almost whi...

Re: animation with only sun moving.
Hello! It's hard to tell from the video alone, but my guess is that the render method itself is to blame. I'd suggest using an unbiased render, like Interior or Exterior , which should give you better results. Here's a quick test using the Interior render at 25 passes: sun1.jpg sun2.jpg sun3.jpg Hop...

Re: Subway tunnel
Wellp, little update here. I'd say Im done with the tunnel itself, next step would be making the train and hope my laptop won't give up on this model. Here'e what the scen looks like this far (with a bit of post-pro): metro.png Oh and thanks for suggesting the debris/trash, it does indeed add atmosp...

Re: Subway tunnel
Oh right! Didn't think of that, but yea it would be a nice detail :^: . I'll probably add some more saturation to the lights to give the scene some more color. (btw from looking at reference photos most tunnels look rather clean, which I guess makes sence since they have maintenance works there ever...
