Re: Sketchy Physics Animation Test

This is the one thing I've never taken the opportunity to test in Twilight. Did you check the 'reuse lighting information'? this is still one important feature that needs a little more attention. Chris is right, that because the objects are moving reusing the light cache may or may not produce the r...

Re: Spring inspiration...

I just realize that you will need a special material library installed in order to make my grass component work... :( Not that it's a problem as such, but it would be great if we could have another material library system, in order to avoid clocking up the KT material libs... ;) any luck? would lik...

Re: A marble horse

flame material/shape needs work. not a bad scene! the red glass balls next to the horse seem like they would be 'stronger' if they had a purpose, were real objects of some sort. it's a very CG thing to have just random spheres in a rendering. model at base of candle stick could be improved... seems ...

Re: Evening Sunset

looking really good, Ranger!

the mapping of the dark tile pavers along top edge of pool gives it away... and the person... something not right about the person... I'd just delete.

cool scene... dusk...err... should I say Twilight shots are difficult. :)

Re: Dual Vanity

hmm... if you care to email me the scene, I can try out some render settings I've been working on. (FletchMT at gmail) this will not be my answer to everyone, but just as friendly tip to a very good rendering artist, I highly recommend getting a corei7 (8 threads!)... they are smokin' w/ Twilight. I...

I was thinking exactly what Chris wrote... can you try a more exciting/extreme camera angle?

Re: Dual Vanity

@Ranger - yes... from the easy settings. we intend them to sort of cover everything for the user. but we did include the old KT settings for KT user convenience. I have been refining these settings for months, hundreds and hundreds of test renderings, etc... so using the Easy settings and giving fee...
