Re: Small counter
I think it's a great image to give an overall picture of what the 'big idea' is.
however, I think you can do a much better job lighting this scene. It seems dull, flat.
Lighting is key for product shots... product displays, just as much as for architecture.

Re: sketchy physics
Indeed, a video tutorial is a good idea. We will see about implementing one.
In the meantime, please be sure you have read this carefully:

Re: texture corruption with photo matching?
What Marcus said will work. But if you simply subdivide the face, this distortion will be limited greatly. Manually dividing the surface of the face with lines to create smaller triangles will work. Subdivide and Smooth Plugin available at Smustard.com will subdivide the faces instantaneously for you.

Hello Fizgig,
This is not possible at the moment.
However, if the engine can support this ability in the future it will of course be implemented immediately within Twilight.

They are beautiful! Great work!
Seriously... use Easy 09! It will render faster. In 3-6 hours you should have a great rendering.

Re: Transparent shadow problem
Well, with this template, the "alpha" is actually only changing the weight of the refraction, and it is not a 1:1 relationship. That is to say that 50% alpha in the realistic glass common template is about equal to a refraction weight of .849. It's not a bug, just a 'limitation' of this st...

Re: Transparent shadow problem
ok... great test scene for learning! Nice and simple. The problem is mainly the lighting.
