:welcome: Keith! I would try to make layers for the furniture that is only coming into play for certain scenes. This will then let you easily control those layers' visibility w/ SU's scene tabs... and they would naturally then also be controlled for Twilight. (Do the same for light components... if ...

perhaps. part of it is that you don't have to do any light setup... that saves time/effort right there. ;) right? second, an HDR projects light from every direction, varying the light depending on the image. In case you haven't seen, this package of Volumetric materials has been expanded and is new and improved :) , and the scene with these spot lights ready for your dance floor is waiting for you to try out ready to simply open and hit render, along with a similar scene for light beams through windows....
