What is the recommended distance of lights from other geometry? I have been using an inch, is that adequate?

My prev post says I have pro, and I downloaded pro, but I have not activated it, I can't find my product code it has been almost three years since I installed it originally guess I am screwed

Ok I have pro but not the extra button, so now what?

I believe I have the pro version, how do I find out for sure?, secondly where do I find the Deep material?

The two images and one of the IES files is in the first reply, the second IES file is in this reply both as zip files. Windows vista 64 dual core AMD processor, SU2014, Twilight Render v2. the render was 4+ nothing special as far as the model goes
