SketchUp 2017 and Twilight Render V2.7

You might have noticed that SketchUp 2017 is now out. http://www.sketchup.com/products/sketch ... ew-in-2017

And with it, we are releasing a new version of Twilight Render, V2.7! SketchUp 2017 updates the required Ruby version for plugins and introduces a whole new 3D graphics pipeline for its model view. The new version of Twilight Render is compatible with these changes. We've also made some bug fixes and improvements:
  • Fixed a material template bug that could cause lost or erroneous data when switching between templates.
  • Fixed an issue with certain kinds of IES light files that weren't being read correctly.
  • Added a 'Fit to SketchUp View' option for the Exploration Renderer.
  • Improved the license activation process. You no longer need to copy the Computer ID from the Options window when using the Activation link in the Options -> License page.
SketchUp 2017 introduces a lot of new hardware and software requirements. You can read more about that here: https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/36208. Note that some users will not be able to upgrade to SU 2017 on older computers with older graphics cards. Your card must support OpenGL 3.0 or higher. Also note that SketchUp is dropping support for OSX 10.9. It is important for OSX users to note that we are also changing the minimum supported OSX versions; we are dropping support for OSX 10.8 for all installations of Twilight Render V2.7 and above and the minimum OSX version is now 10.9.

Even if you aren't upgrading to SketchUp 2017, we recommended installing the latest version of Twilight Render (excepting OSX 10.8 users).
