Photoshop help (I think)
A client has chosen this https://www.richelieu.com/us/en/categor ... 6233057490 for their wine cellar material and I'm having a heck of a time making this into a somewhat decent texture. I saved the photo from their site and turned it into a "seamless texture" using an online converter because I have no idea how to use photoshop (I'm currently learning GIMP as an alternative, but I know less about that than I do rendering). Is this size photo even big enough to make this as a use-sable texture? Tips?
Re: Photoshop help (I think)
Seems like a good texture, and if you make a good seamless texture version, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
It's very important to set it to the right real world dimensions in your SketchUp Texture dialog.
Please post a pic of the problem to help explain what's going wrong. You may need to take this image and enhance it further to make it a better seamless image for high resolution rendering.

Try this one.
You will need to decide what the dimensions are of this texture.
It is approximately 4 times the size of the texture image they provided.

Re: Photoshop help (I think)
Thanks fletch! I think I am having a hard time with the "real life" image size. Would it be the size that the panels come in? Should I make and use any maps?
Re: Photoshop help (I think)
It's the real life size in inches for this texture. Not the panel. If you were to print this out to"actual real life size" how big (what dimensions) would you print it to match the texture as you would see it on the real life panels?
