Checker board screen

Post by garuugolino » Sun Feb 17, 2019 5:25 pm

I use Twi. at work and I recently installed it on my home computer. At home when I click on the "Open Twilight Render "button
in SU I see a checkerboard screen in Twi. which I don't see when I use Twi. at work.
Is there a shortcut key to turn off the checkerboard ?
Thanks,

Fletch

There is no way to turn this off.
It is strange that the checkboard does not show up when you are at work. Are you using a different operating system at work compared to at home?
The checkboard is a standard graphic convention indicating an empty pixel - this means the image is transparent at that location.

Thanks for the reply Fletch.
Last Friday at work I upgraded my SU to 2019. Today I downloaded Twi. and I got the checkerboard background. I guess it is a mystery as to why I didn't see it before when I was using SU 2018. I liked the solid screen I had before,,,but it is what it is,

Thanks again.

It has been this way from the beginning, perhaps you just noticed it now for some reason?

You could always change the background image for the screen as described in this postviewtopic.php?f=11&t=10733&p=47683#p47657
