Smudged mirror

Post by humanunhuman » Sat May 01, 2021 9:56 am

Hi,

I am trying to include a mirror in my render for the first time. I have set the material to Template - Architectural Glass- Mirror. The issue is that the reflected image inside the mirror look kind of smudged and not a clear mirrored image. How can i fix this?

Many thanks!

If your a Twilight Pro user you can download this material pack for use in the Deep Material Editor. A collection of "dirty window and old mirror" material set ups.http://twilightrender.com/phpBB3/viewto ... =12&t=2505

It appears the mirror is curved, but not smoothed when rendered. Be sure your smoothed curved geometry is inside of a group, then it will render smooth.
