Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
With the latest test I did, the box was unchecked and is divisible by 4. The previous rendering was checked and it did change the resolution size, however, it ended up being divisible by 4 based on the property details of the image.
Still waiting for ffmpeg forums to approve my first post so not sure when I'll get a response over there.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
trying to think of some idea what may be the problem...
could it be a folder permission issue?
it sounds like FFMPEG is not finding its own codecs for some reason. Not sure why that would be?
Do you have any other video editing software on your machine? If so, you should be able to use it to turn your rendered images into a video.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
Well took a lot of tries to capture this screenshot because it was really just a flash but it appears that I've solved the issue. The pixel height is not divisible by 2. I'll re-run the rendering at 1920x1080 and hopefully all is well. I did a quick test at 200x112 and it worked out fine.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
Good catch! I didn't know that the H264 format required a height divisible by 2 (but I'm not surprised). Thanks for narrowing that down. We will update our tutorials and documentation to reflect those requirements. Let us know if it ends up working.
Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
if it's divisible by 4, then it's divisible by 2.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
Yeah, but I think I misunderstood originally. I was multiplying the resolution to get the total number of pixels, which was always divisible by 2 or 4 (even when it resized the image from my specified resolution). The problem was that the height and width separately weren't divisible by 2 or 4.
Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
I always thought the restriction was only on the width. Interesting to see that it is also on the height.
Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
Good to know that both Chris and I were correct about the image size being the issue. It's a quirky issue for sure.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size
Yes, thanks! Works significantly better than the animated gif option. I appreciate the help!
