Speed on MacBook Pro
Speed on MacBook Pro
Ray tracing with Ambient Occlusion. Exterior scene with Sun on soft shadows, the render runs up to 60% in a couple minutes then grinds to a crawl. Is that normal? Using dedicated Grapics card Radeon Pro 560x
Re: Speed on MacBook Pro
Twilight unfortunately renders only on CPU, so your graphics card is useful in the post-processing stages, not the rendering.
Ambient Occlusion render setting is probably best to be avoided, it was a half-finished experimental setting at the time and development of that setting was abandoned soon after its release. In all likelihood it is not properly hyper threaded.
Anti-aliasing is maybe not properly hyper threaded, so that could also be where the rendering is bogging down. Ray tracing is hyper threaded.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind.
