Laubwerk trees

Post by zarnollistudio » Tue Oct 15, 2019 7:15 am

Good moring Twilight render people !
I would like to render nice trees. I have been recommanded to use Laubwerk. It is indeed perfect quality.
What a bad surprise, when I have loaded the extension on Sketchup and try to render with Twilight ... It does not work. Does someone know which Trees Library is supported by Twilight Render ? Or is there a special procedure on Twilight Render to render Trees from Laubwerk ?

Many thanks in advance.

Our efforts to work with Laubwerk for integration of their product have been not as fruitful as we had hoped.
We are not giving up. :)

Meanwhile, I presume you are trying to render a Christmas Tree type of tree close-up/high quality model?
It is not clear to me that SketchUp can handle the polygons... but perhaps it can? If you can find an .obj or .3ds file of your desired tree, insert that file (via obj importer plugin or .3ds importer) into SketchUp and apply materials. It should render fine with Twilight.
