Hi everyone,
I'm new to Twilight Render. I'm exploring rendering and have satisfying results with interior renders (see attached image).
But I can't get correct renders for exteriors. Image is overexposed, whites are burned (so post processing is no good).
I tried to decrease Sun strength from 5 to 2 but this made the image darker without improving the render (like I would reduce brightness in post on a burned image).
It seems to me that the exposure is set to the inside of the house rather than the outside.
Any quick tips before I upload a simpler version of this model ?
Exterior render is largely overexposed

Bienvenue jerry_arns ,
It appears perhaps you have increased the exposure in the Render Dialog to be appropriate for the Interior rendering, but when rendering for exterior the exposure needs to be set to 1. Sun of 4 or 5 is usually perfect.

Re: Exterior render is largely overexposed
Thanks!
I knew it was a basic mistake
The thing is, I assumed the post process exposure parameter was... post process, that is, applied after the rendering.
I set it back to 1 and tadaa: (I know there are many things wrong in this render. Now that I understand exposure, I can start working on my textures and environment).
