G'day folks, has anyone got a method for depicting spider web in a render?

Have you tried a PNG with transparency on a good model?

Do you have an example photo of what you are going for? Screenshot of what you have tried so far?

I have tried using png transparencies with negative variants too. Problem is they just do not show up well. I am thinking spider webs in a window or the corner of a roof/wall etc. Nothing heavy like disused factory settings etc just a subtle little web or three.

I think the results will be directly correlated with quality of the PNG image of web used.

How long does it take on your machine? The AA does take some time. It is also using emitter rendered with Easy 1-7, not the fastest.

More importantly, is it what you were going for as far as spider webs go?
