The billboard image you have placed in the background will cast shadows in Easy09, even with "cast shadows" unchecked for the billboard material.

The way around this is to move the image further away so as not to cast shadow on the scene, but then upscale the billboard to appear correct size. Another way is to change the sun angle, if that is convenient.

This is what I ended up doing and works quite well. It is only really for reflections etc. so I'll still photoshop it in once rendered.

Ideally you would make your own spherical sky that would do everything you want. Lighting/reflections/refractions/not cast shadows in easy09
