Desert Sky

Post by shaisamuel » Tue Aug 04, 2020 11:16 pm

I am trying to add realistic skies to my model, using Spherical Sky. I used the pack images, and got this result. Clearlly, the land part isn't a fit. Any suggestions?

Thank you Fletch.

I don't have access to drone images, and some good desert background that I found (attached), are not seemless.

I see two issues with the existing image I used
1. The trees or houses at the horizon line, which are not suitable for my area, but also make the horizon looks very close, wherein my point of view they should be much far away.
2. The type of ground (water/green grass/desert send...)

Could you direct me on how to search for one without trees or houses on the horizon line, with some clear ground?

Is there a process I can control and set the horizon line on the background image?

I linked you to the process above.

It may be difficult to find the background images you need. It is always a challenge for an artist to find the entourage they need for their work. You will need to take your own images, or buy what you need. Search for desert HDRI skies.
