Harsh Line on wall

Post by jennielowery » Thu Oct 22, 2020 7:20 pm

Hi there! New to TR and am having an issue I can't seem to find a solution for. I grabbed the 2x4 fluorescent lights from the gallery and have some in my scene, they work great until I put reflections on my surfaces.

I have the following on these materials:
Wood Satin 30 (on the end panels)
Plastic Satin 40 (for metal shelving)
Metal Aluminum 25 (chair legs)
Paint Flat 0 (walls)
Paint Flat Enamel 40 (door frame)
Perfect Reflection 55 (countertops)
>>Nothing else has a texture applied to it (like floor or ceiling or fixture backs)

Rendering 09. Interior
Post Process: Linear
Bloom: 1/1/.75
Size: 1236x600

Lights
size: .25
Power: 60
Efficacy: 70
Fall Off: 750
Hotspot: 15
No shadow, no soft shadow
Type: Spot

Environment
Physical Sky
Brightness: 2
Sky Rotation:180
Sun enabled
Sun shadow enabled
Sun Soft Shadow Enabled
10% haze
5 sun Strength
Corrected Shadows on
Rotate Sun with Sky on

Sun is set in May, about noonish. I've changed the geo-location moved the date and time around .. nothing helps this line.

I'm not sure what else I can/should adjust and I've played with the lighting, I've toggled every sun setting on and off, moved the lights, moved the fixtures .. that line just will not go away until I remove the reflections.

Ironically .. that line dead meets up with the Drawing axes lines, not sure that matters, but it's exactly where they meet on the horizon(red/green/blue).

What am I doing wrong lol?

You can't see the 2 photos I posted above? The 2nd one shows the line.
