Alpha Mask and Gimp Gone Crazy
Alpha Mask and Gimp Gone Crazy
Started having crazy behavior with my Twilight alpha mask and Gimp. Going through the proper procedure , open Gimp with my Twilight render image , right click add alpha mask to image. Do a copy and paste with Twilight alpha mask and anchor the floating layer. Problem is I'm getting a partially transparent final image. When I import the image to use in the masked area it ghosts through the whole image. Any ideas whats happening ? Posting an example image....

Agree with Alvydas, when you save your Alpha Mask Rendering from Twilight Render be SURE to have Tone Mapping and all post Processing set to NONE.
Re: Alpha Mask and Gimp Gone Crazy
alvydas , Fletch , Thanks bunches. Now that you explained my goof up all the renders with this behavior had the exposure dialed up for saving. Never crossed my mind to dial it back down for the alpha mask . Me be dumbass
