Background in video

Post by humanunhuman » Thu Sep 23, 2021 4:28 pm

Hi!

My model is more or less ready to render and i want to render it as a video. Question 1, what is the best alternative for that? Secondly, i want to add background images (what you would see looking out the windows). Normally i would do this in photoshop but as i want to make a video this is not an option. Question 2: How can i add environment background to a rendered video?

Many thanks!

Use a spherical sky that is appropriate for your scene.

Brilliant, thank you for the answers!

Do you have any recommendation to where to find spherical sky's? I have never been successful in my search. In this case it would be a street view i am looking for.

In the last couple years, the number of available spherical images has exploded. Type "hdri environment image" into google and you will find a lot. HDRLabs has been a good website for a few years and has a variety of free resources. http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/archive.html
