About Displacement

Post by posodrac » Wed Feb 17, 2010 2:28 pm

Hi, is it possible to recreate with Twilight the "Displace" feature of other renders. I tried using a black&white bumpmap but the corner effect did't look like the example attach made with Indigo. It gives the effect that one wall enter through the cracks between stones on the other.

The render engine behind Twilight Render (TWR) is Kerkythea...
When/if KT will get displacement implemented, it will also become available with TWR... ;)

A few lines traced on that plane and a little push-pull will do the trick. 8-)
