Hello, I read This Topic and it looks that
Kerkythea rendering engine got some improvements ( speed increase of 50% or more!).
Will this trigger a Twilight Render update soon? Or nothing at the horizon ?
And if, will be there any interface update too?

Although I can't say anything specific, I will assume this also affect TWR...
Only downside will be that 64 bit won't be avaialble for TWR, since it's impossible to call the 64bit dll from within SketchUp's 32bit dll.
To take advantage of the 64 bit, you need to use KT as "render studio"... (i.e. set up all materials etc. in TWR, export as XML using TWR and render in KT...) :emp:
Sooner or later we must expect that SU 64 bit will become available and then you will be able to take advantage of 64 bit even in TWR... :)

TWR ver. 1.x is now more than 1 year old, so perhaps you'll also see some other major changes in general and an update to TWR v. 2.0... :whoot:

Let's see what Chris and Fletch are up to... :geek:

Ah, I have finally found this topic (so no need to add a duplicate).

And yes, using Kerky as a studio can solve the issue. It has other advantages, too (like extreme high poly support if you want to instance a whole forest for instance).

Where have I been? I have just found this thread and the one in the KT forum.

Sounds good. 50% speed increase by rendering in the new KT Studio plus 50% more if I upgrade my old Core i5 750 to a Core i7 2600... That's a 125% Boost!
