Will i get the same features of the Twilight render if I just copy the 2 files (twilight.rb & twilight folder) to my personal second machine (laptop) compared to installing it using the twilight installer.
Has anybody tried it? Are there any other features that is compromise like the export function to KT and the 800x600 image resolution output?
TWR Same features?
Re: TWR Same features?
You do not have to use the installer; copying over those files is perfectly fine. However, you must have a valid license on each machine or Twilight Render will run in demo mode.

Those (and the logo watermark) are the "symptoms" of the demo mode actually.Chris wrote: However, you must have a valid license on each machine or Twilight Render will run in demo mode.

Re: TWR Same features?
Just to add. I noticed that customized materials do not work also even if you add it under material folder.
Are these features not available in the Demo version?

I was trying to add a nice curtain material by alvydas and other materials from our generous members(sorry guys if I forgot to mention your names), but it doesn't showed up on the Twilight material preview.
Don't know If customized rendering presets will work also using the demo version of Twilight render. Are these features not available in the Demo version?

Re: TWR Same features?
You probably need to set the correct path for Twilight to search for material libraries. It's probably not pointing at Google SketchUp 8.
Libraries are not limited in demo mode.

But you'll need to quit and restart SketchUp to see them?
