settings for light bulb

Post by res08a7k » Sun Jul 23, 2017 7:04 pm

what would be the optimal way to set up for a chandelier or gas lamp bulb? for the bulb it's self glowing.

My lights seem to point up or down or around but not glow form the position as inside the bulb only?

I have made the glass bulb transparent.

Thank you, Billy

A picture of what you are wanting to accomplish would be helpful.

A glowing bulb is a bit of a challenge. Typically, for a non-transparent bulb, setting the bulb material to the emitter template and then changing its emit type to "Fake" would give you the best results. For a fully transparent bulb where you see the filament inside, that could be done also with a fake emitter on the filament.
