Get terrain model for your project

The terrain model provided by Google Earth to SketchUp is not always very accurate. Sometimes there are more accurate terrains available for free.
The Twilight Terrain Tool addon for Twilight Render Pro automates the import of this terrain and allows you to choose your desired resolution.

First grab the coordinates for your desired location.
Then import the terrain.

This looks very nice! Does this automatically pull the terrain from somewhere or you have to know where to get it?

BTW AFAIK Google Earth no longer provides the Terrain models for SketchUp.

There are "default" servers built in. But you can also provide your own.

Maybe not, but Twilight render does. :)

We only use google maps above just to grab the coordinates in the correct format to copy/paste into the Terrain Tool search function.
