Studio lighting template

Good day,
I manufacture decorative lighting, pendants, chandeliers etc, and want to have a "room" set up as a standard area in which to render and share the rendered images.
I have tried with the box light setting but the light only shines onto the top of the fitting, I need the item to be illuminated from the sides as well.
Is there anyone who could assist me in setting up a template with the requisite lighting that will allow me to design a fitting and place it in the "room" for rendering? I have attached the sketchup file of the items for rendering. In this case the material used is shiny brass.

Use the "two tall rectangles" HDRI that comes packaged with Twilight Render.

In the Environment Settings go to the presets pulldown menu (at the bottom) and choose it.

Try also the HDR-Studio-WarmCool preset.

This is what I used for these light fixtures:

See also this thread where I show many designer light fixtures in-situ.

In that thread you will find this post describing a studio setup you can create for full control and rendering your light fixtures:

Using 4 rectangular emitter planes to create a studio for this light fixture, place them in a box-like patter around the object.
Set the back planes as emitter material with power at 150w/m2
Set the Front Left and Front Right emitter planes with emitter at 500w/m2

Here is a simple set up using your file.
To change the distance and shape/proportions of the emitter planes to be perfect for your light fixture you need to use exploration rendering - set on Easy 09 render setting, hopefully you have the AI denoise plugin which will save many hours of render time.

Keep in mind to highlight horizontal tubes, you need a long horizontal light.
For vertical tubes - a long vertical light works best.
Move them closer and further away, up and down.
Small resolution test renderings to quickly get an idea how it's looking.
Blue reflection in the metal material comes with the aluminum template but may not be right for your metal finish, so change the color based on what you need to see.

DOF enabled in close-up views of your light fixtures add to realism (and render times).

For a "room" you will want to work on that, for sure. You will want it modeled nicely and accurately, and lit well. It should render well no matter which fixture you place inside. You may need 2 or 3 or even more scenes like this in which to display the fixtures. There are several scenes ready to render and free for pro users in the Resources section, perhaps they will assist you in this.

Here is a link to a few example scenes for you to start with.

Hi Fletch, thanks a lot for the post, please could you save the sketchup file in SKP2020 format.
Also, please can you elaborate on the deionising plugin I should be using, I am still a beginner when it comes to these things.

Fastforward Denoise Plugin for Twilight Render Pro saves hours and hours of render time, if you have a compatible video card.

I have resaved the file in 2016 format, please try to download again.
