Unbiased Rendering with Easy 09 or Easy 10 render settings defaults to 10000 passes. This means that the image is rendered over and over again up to 10000 times unless the rendering progress is halted earlier by the user. Often 10000 passes is way more than is necessary. If rendering on an 8 core/thread machine, often the image, depending on size and lighting conditions of the scene, can be clear enough to show a client in as little as 60-100 passes. This increases if the number of rendering threads decreases, because each pass is made by each thread of the computer rendering processor, so 100 passes on an 8 core machine is similar to 800 passes on a single thread machine.

In addition to this, if desiring to render an unbiased animation, or render a batch of images with the unbiased render methods, it's no problem with Twilight Render V2 because now you can set the number of iterations to a custom number... bypassing the default 10000 passes.
