Where do you guys find time to read the 9 page instruction manual and play around with the plugin? I mean it just feels overwhelming at times, all these different plugins.
Never watched the video or read the manual, UI was intuitive enough for me  It's one of the most used plugins I have in the palette. Great :rspkt: to Fredo6.

I agree with you, this plugin is very good if you want to make a more realistic scene in sketchup, but i'm having a lot of problems when applying a texture to the object, sketchup doesn't map very well the bevels. What's your trick? :|

Well, if you really want to see a nice result, you will definitely (re)position the texture after the bevel/rounding (or texture afterwards).

I know almost nothing of ruby but as I read, it seems that texture UV mapping is one of the hardest part to access via ruby - especially when new, automated geometry is created.

(Wait a minute guys, where is the attachment tab here? :? Am I banned or something? ;) )

Option for attachments seems to be missing at "Tips, Tricks, and More" for me too. Sorry, cannot attach a image of the situation  Also "New Topic" button is missing.

Come on, Fletch, I am an admin on another board (you may even know where) so I know phpBB quite well. ;)

Does this work for any angle no matter how shallow, or just 90 degree corners?

I want to make a railway gradient of level to 1 in 50 and vice verse a smooth transition for a camera path, this is a very shallow angle.

kind regards

nick

Yes, it does. If you watch the video posted in the first post, there Fredo demonstrates how it works with skewed angles, too. A must-have plugin I can tell.
