Glitter

I have a glitter image applied as a texture in my model and I'm looking for any suggestions for material settings that would give a grainy/glittery look when rendered. I'm assuming I'll need to apply a bump map?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the texture is on a flat surface. I've also attached the glitter image I'm using.

Actually you probably want to layer two materials together (this will require the deep editor). One would be your base mat (countertop, stone, whatever) and the other would be a highly reflective metal. You would layer them together using a mask image, essentially a black and white image of flecks of glitter.

Have you used the deep editor before? It's pretty straightforward once you get used to it but just starting it out it can be daunting.

I've only played with the Deep Editor a little bit but I'll give it a try using your suggested method.

I had originally attempted to add a texture bump (desaturated copy of the original glitter image) and used the gloss paint template to see what effect that would generate. Not too successful. I've included a screen shot of what I get when I convert that to Deep Editor. Can I modify form there or should I start from scratch?
