Feature Mirror.

Thanks to Fletch for the pointer to Houzz.com, I used the inspiration to create a feature mirror. Googled the image and made it into a png with transparencies. Added a mirror plane behind it and added a frame. The render is just to give an idea of how it works rather than as a completed render. I have tried to add the file, at 1.82 meg it is too large. I shall try to work something out.

Trying to find a picture format that is smaller than the PNG (1.7mb) and acceptable to sketchup.

How about creating a channel from any transparency in the PNG file outputted to a JPG for rendering, then save the image as a JPG?

Played around in GIMP.

I hope it is useful.

Mike1158,
Thanks for sharing. There seems to be some Z fighting between surfaces in the picture component, but the "dirt" in the image gives it character!
I prefer a nice cup of tea myself...

Green tea or Red bush? Some herbal tea's are good too.
