WTF??

well, you neglected to mention the processor speed, but it's possible that your machine is too hot and the processors are being stepped down automatically to compensate? I would expect about 2mins from a dual core...

My computer in an 3years old Quad core 2.66ghz with 3go ram and Nvidia Geforce 8500GT.
Sketchup 7 free and Window xp pro...

I must buy a new one !!!

clearly the camera is not the same as all the rest, weird. may be a mac thing? but Oli is running TWL on vmware on Mac and his works fine so
Try clicking the "Scene1" tab, and choosing "Easy>02. Low" from the render presets and render it once more, please.

It's not.
there's something wrong, as the scene rendered here is not exactly as shown in the original post. Because the lamp is not filling the view, the render result time will be much shorter.

In an effort to discover the problem, please tell us if you downloaded the .skp file or the .zip file.

My bad, I was messing with Bob and zoomed out to show that by doing so render times decrease drastically. I still stand by my 20sec time as shown earlier. Not sure whats going on with bobs file.
