Bathroom.

Not entirely happy with this, a nagging concern about the textures I will have to think about this, suggestions?

The scale of things seems off. The door (sauna?) seems too wide and the bottles in the cabinet are huge.

Thanks Chris, I feel proper daft missing that. They were imports from a .max file and basically a couple of miles across. Best excuse I can come up with is a bulk purchase by the wife possibly. I have been out a lot putting food out for the wild birds round here, they get a pretty good feed but this weather is tough and they are struggling, usually timid birds and squirrels basically taking food from my hand while I put it into the feeders. I came across a Ninja dropping covered in snow doing one run. BOA, a very short and low flying holiday so I took some nice tablets which hit the spot. I wish dog walkers would pick up after their dogs. I am going to try and get this right so I will thank Chris and anyone else who can offer a clue or two where I am missing the plot. Stay well folks.

Bump of floor tile is over the tile not in it...the tub i think inside of it has wrong faces inside out so it looks like metal. :^:

Floor tile bump, yep, something about that texture sadly. The bath has the correct face but for some reason the bleeping thing will not play ball so I will have to go for another. My knee which requires replacement is acting up so I have a very warm glow which is chemically assisted. Just at the moment my mojo is on strike dangit but thank you for taking the time to give me some pointers. I really appreciate folk taking the time.

Thing is, I think this has potential. :wall:

Mike, agree that this has good potential... now for my two cents for what it's worth.... Agree with Chris the width of the door seems way out of scale to it's height ? The texture on the tub looks off to me also. All the rest that follows is mostly personal taste , appearance things so don't think I'm beating on you. The base trim board seems unusually tall. I'd try a higher eye level maybe, mostly because from this view the tub looks a little bit like I'm looking a a big teacup from the side. Being able to see the shape, size of tub I think would be an improvement. Having the tub , sink and toilet all in a small row seems incongruent with what I'm assuming is a luxury bath ? In my part of the world the toilet in higher end baths is usually separated in it's own alcove or small space sometimes even with it's own door. The lack of some type of shelf or storage and a mirror over the sink is also unusual to what I'm used to seeing. Would be interesting to learn if some of the things are just variations in how things are done in different areas of the world.

Thanks mate, I am probably a bit doo laly at the moment, thinking through a fog. I am going to go away and think on those suggestions. The door is a 900mm access for disabilities groups but I think I went a little ott.

Perhaps I need to listen to my own advice. Gentlemen and ladies it is a privilege. :hat:

Mike , don't get disheartened. Still think your on the path to good things. Hadn't occurred to me the door being over width for handicap access. Wonder if camera angle and field of view is contributing to the doors appearance ? My own experiences I've found when I start pushing for wider views it can sometimes start distorting things. Cheers , keep up the good work and hope the fog starts to lift. :^:

I am grateful for the feedback. Not disheartened as such but thinking with these pain mads can be a long process. The field of view is probably part of the door issue. New view folks. Warmer here today which makes having a broken boiler easier to deal with but that will be dealt with over the next few days too.
