Kitchen/Diner'

A kitchen and dining room setup. Not complete just checking light levels and texture suitability.

That part painted wood texture bugs me, it just does not work in this scene. I wish I could find a way to replace the blue with yellow or brown I would be a happy bunny but nothing I have will do that without ruining the texture. :wall: :wall:

Use Photoshop or Gimp to select by colour then 'Colorise' ?
May need to adjust the threshold of the selection tool to pick up the blue at the faded edges

Thanks very much, I'll give that a go. Changed some textures and made the exterior hdri brighter.

Somehow the temp changed, adjusted in post.

Not bad but one thing sticks out to me. If they have electricity, running water, a fridge and such, why do they have an old stove like that? Like it's not wrong but just seems odd to me. Personally I think it would maybe be better to showcase it in a more old-style building?

They had running water for quite some time but in the house I grew up in there was a separate scullery for that. This project is meant to represent an update of an old property with a small wave and hob. A lot of the older AGA type units were updated with gas too so the stretch is quite small in a modern kitchen.

Oh I see. I've never come across something like that so the concept seemed odd to me at first, but now that you put it that way it makes more sense :D

I am extremely grateful for feedback, more often than not I have something I completely missed pointed out. Something to do with getting older I hope. Thank you Sir, much appreciated.

Just some subtle little changes, not sure.
