12' X 12' Solo occupancy unit.

Post by Mike1158 » Wed Apr 25, 2018 3:41 pm

A 2 level unit for solo occupancy, students or the recently qualified. Nothing fancy but just about anything beats a rented room in a house with who knows sharing and where things go missing all the time. Exterior view to start.

Half steps as used in many yachts and some other boats. More space efficient than full steps and easier to use in confined spaces.

Those steps wouldn't be allowed in the U.S.A. due to code restrictions.

There is always something Fletch, wherever we go. Sara needed a stair lift but we did not have the money so my suggestion was a tea tray and a pair of bungee cords but they would not go for that. To be fair, Sara was not that keen either. It might have something to do with the dog leg on the stairs but it would have got Sara in to the bathroom a sight quicker......

I mean, in a rental unit you have to follow code, in a personal home, you can pretty much do whatever you like. Multi-unit rentals are heavily regulated by code, for safety.
