Thanks Fletch, the ceiling is matt so reflection moot but the floor mat is not staying. Chairs have also changed. I think I sound like my ex picking clothes, if I end up with the first chair I may well explode. Cabinets are satin paint so why no reflection I have no idea.

Possible final.

Possible final. It appears the chairs are now the levitating component, but nuts. I think the change of mats has improved the general appearance, imho.

It's looking great as far as natural lighting, backlighting this type of scene is sometimes difficult to achieve.

Thanks fletch, The only way I can see the reflections showing is to introduce another light source. Possibly an invisible emiter to mimic exterior light from another direction. The stairs, mea culpa, I usually deal with that but missed this completely.

Thanks for making me think a bit more. :^:

PS, the strange construction detail, it's a place holder. The finished item will be extruded aluminium and steel cables.

don't need any more lights, your material for the tiles should be ceramic, but looks flat? same with the other mats I refer to.

G'day, I am writing this in an open format so others may understand. Fletch, I thought you were being a bit too critical because I KNEW I had set finish and emission levels just right. Berk, I had completely missed the tiles and this is the head banging moment, I did not want too much shine/reflection but some would have been nice and I was scratching my head for ages, a bit like the bleeping roof I left off. Perhaps I should take more water with it, or more it. Thanks Fletch et al, I shall try to wake up more in the future. Fletch, feel free to slap my head with a wet haddock should you get the opportunity, not much else has worked lately...... :rspkt:

No worries Fletch, writing that was cathartic and driving the lesson home in my mind. I shall do the fish thing myself and have some 'it' in lieu of not having 'it' (alcohol) so far. Will cod be all right? I have no haddock in the freezer at the moment.

View into garden.

I have decided the chairs and table must go and be replaced by standard height items. Too much of an eye sore.

Experimenting with an imperfect mirror, worn like a very old mirror.
