I mentioned this to you before, but... the unattractive ground plane is distracting from the rendering subject matter
HDR soft box/light tent lighting would be a direction I would explore.
Or this ready-made-for-Twilight Render car lighting studio... Check out this thread - FREE SCENE TO DOWNLOAD!- the lighting/camera angle are critical - they don't change the render time much, but the difference in outcome is night and day.

The mat in that last image would be nice if it is available. I sometimes render the model as it develops but worrying about perfect lighting is not what I am going for yet. I am wanting to see the little flaws that only show up in a rendered image, darnit. Anyway, thanks for the comments, they are always positive, one day they may sink in. Perhaps. Maybe.
