Sunken courtyard.

Looking good, Mike. :^: I would suggest some DOF to blur the foreground foliage slightly, giving some added realism.

nice lighting, but the materials seem strange. :?

Yeah I agree with Fletch, the materials look off... the floor texture looks a bit stretched to me, and the foreground stone wall would need to be a higher resolution.

Another thing is the lack of reflection on the glass, I'm guessing the interior being too bright compared to the outside could be one reason.

But don't worry, we're all here to learn :D

Thanks folks, lots to think about, including a small pond with koi etc. Might be a bit too cramped unless it is a compromise. I'll get back to you.
