Salt Racer

Post by tuna57 » Wed Feb 27, 2019 10:11 pm

Just rolled it off the trailer....... Rendered Easy 8, 200 passes, 3 1/2 hours on my iMac. Rendered at 2200 px wide. Post pro in Gimp. Needs some tweaking. Could use a better backdrop image and color of the ground not quite where I'd like. Need to figure the best way to put in some tire tracks :! .

Nice :^:

The backdrop looks fine imo, as for the tire tracks, I think just making a ground texture with those included in it would be the easier way. At least that's what I'd do in this case.

Well here's another view of the car.... 150 passes Easy 8. Rendered at 2400 px wide about 4 1/2 hours on the iMac. Put in some tire tracks on this one :! .

Sweet :^: I like the rivet detail, and that reflection at the front suspension is nice.

Thanks rangerrick. Hope to try a few more views of this. The hard part for me has been positioning the car so the reflections and shading on the body look nice,
