Just playing around with water. I used the water fall effect here. Not allowed to run for long as the scene is not complete yet but it looks reasonable. Separate 'jets' from the shower head give a reasonable facsimile but takes a while to render. One jet may be better time wise.

Not sleeping anyway test 2 with the final view, possibly.....

Looks good Mike. Now you need to be able to spread out the jets a little so that they get just a little bit of a "cone" effect in the overall shape of the stream.

Would be neat to see a little tut/video of how you accomplished this.

Ta mate, just preliminary test at the moment. To achieve this test I simply used the 'holes' in the shower head as the start point, created a group and extruded them to the ground. Paint and use the imported water - fountain finish. I am looking at various different forms of 'water' and bounce for better effect.

Thanks mate, there is another in the series with a wall cut out and different viewpoint but I am not sure. Not happy with the flat look of this one either but looking into different 'stuff'.

But why is there no door/separation between the bathroom and the rest of the apartment? Wouldn't moisture and uh.. privacy be an issue there

Thanks, there is a cutout in the wall, the door (sliding type) is moved all the way open. The floorspace is 13' 8" square (3.9624M square) so difficult to get a good view and a cutout shows the bathroom too tbh.

cutting out the wall for a view into the bath space is a good creative attempt here.
I think the water is looking pretty successful.

Perhaps a different water material that makes it look more like tiny droplets but that's an experiment you'll have to run for fun if you have time. You may want to look at this thread regarding Bubbles, Water Drops, Fountain Splash for inspiration.

Oh it's a cutout, I guess that whould have been obvious to me Thing is, I've seen some actual designs that don't use a door and where the bathroom is just open to the rest of the place so I just had to ask
