Making great progress :^: . I tend to struggle with the " how much stuff" to put in renders also. Asked myself do I want it to look like pics in a magazine or make it look like a real life space ..... Unless it's for a client that expects "the magazine" look I try and make them look how everyday peoples places would look ..... But that's just me and my weirdness :hat:
Looking forward to the finished views :gj:

I think this may well be the last but who knows. There is a wash bowl in the left corner, an 'antique' item but it displays quite subtly compared to how I would have liked it. Moving it just does not seem right.

Or this, Resampled but unchanged light level wise.

This looks fantastic. Has a real feeling of 'weight' about it.

Perhaps a little more rounding on the corners of the walls? Are they maybe a little sharp for an old building?

Thank you folks, most appreciated. "Perhaps a little more rounding on the corners of the walls"?

I had not thought of that, thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Agree with Burkules with the walls/corners comment. The book shelf looks tiny compared to the big heavy books.

Other than these small items, it's a very strong image. :!: :D

Rejigged the walls, I'm glad you guys told me about that. I also added a 3d character after it was suggested. I would have liked an older person as the low tech environment makes it appropriate but not found anything suitable yet.

Thanks for the suggestions folks.
