Enamel Pin Challenge

Inspired by the "Futurama" pin posted by jxmoss. So here's the deal .... model up a "lapel pin" with a "space" type theme and get to rendering.
The modeling is a bit of a challenge due to the finished size of the pin . Knocked this model out , suppose you can call it a shooting star ? Finished model is only about 1 1/2" across. It does have a pin bach with the little closer doodad thing on the back.....
Rendered on Easy 9, 75 passes, 1800 px. x 1534px. Took about 2 1/2 hrs on the iMac. Final image had minor adjustment in the Mac preview window.
Now for some model set up details. The silver is a Deep Editor material, Ashikhmin_MLT - silver . The ground form shiny plastic template. The three colors on the pin are Advanced Reflection - Gloss Tile with the min. shine dialed up to 250.
Lit the scene with an HDRI studio set up.
I find these small things pretty challenging. . About wore out the Exploration Render testing different light set ups. Not real happy with the shine on the "enamel" parts of the pins. Tried different templates and adjusting the shine range. Couldn't seem to find the sweet spot... either a little flat looking or blowing out real bad . Further experiments as time allows.
