Here's a new one..... ..... Switched out the texture on the walls and floor , minor tweaks to the lighting.

Added the "Keepers" in their vaults on each side and played with the view...... :!

Rendered on Easy 9 , 2200px - 1613px . 100 passes , 18 hrs on the iMac. Have a lot of Deep Material metals and high reflection stuff that adds to render time. Post pro in Affinity and Gimp. Liking the overall lighting and tone of this one.

Been a good learning experience so far ..... cheers  .

That is really a great image Tuna! :rspkt: By applying the principals of the Golden Ratio a lot of the
less interesting foreground is removed with the interest focused on that mysterious glowing light
that leaves the viewer curious.

An interesting read http://jakegarn.com/the-rule-of-thirds/

Much better eye movement in that last image, Tuna!
I like Rangerrick's input as well. ;)

Thanks Fletch.

Here's one more go at this.... story line is the "astro-nuts" have set up a piece of survey equipment and have wandered down the passageway....... :!

Made some minor changes to model. Biggest change was swapping the rock texture on the walls for a metal plate texture. I like the plates better than the rock..... Not sure about the the viewpoint on this one.... just something a bit different than the others.

Render settings and passes the same as the others. 2200px wide. This one took about 16 hours. Think I'm about done playing with this one. Cheers :^:

Excellent, Tuna. I do like your change to the metal plates, the overhead curved conduit, and the survey equip.
:^: The camera view and tone of the image is great, pleasing and interesting to the eye.
Give yourself a pat on the back :gj:

A great scene, worthy of 2001 etc. Smooooth and atmospheric.
