Here's a work in progress.
Any comments?

I need a good dark green marble texture for the countertop if anyone has one they could share. My searches were unfruitful.

Looks pretty good!
Only thing that stands out is that it looks a bit washed-out, not sure if that's intentional? I would also add some spotlights under the top cabinets, to light up the countertop a bit. I'll look for a marble texture if I have one.

Edit: Have you checked this one? https://www.textures.com/download/pbr0495/138506

That's just what I need, yes - thank you. :^:

I've decided to add under-cabinet lights. There are none in the original photo. The original photo also is not very pleasant lighting. I have decided not to try to match the lighting of the original, but rather to make it look as nicely as possible.

*edited - ADDED water mark to photo attached.

Definitely needs task/mood lighting under the wall units, that's a default for me when designing kitchens. Maybe randomise the woodgrain texture on the cabinets, there is a pattern repeat. Watch the fridge door(Fisher and Paykel?) doesn't bind on the wall-it might clear and open into the doorway but can't tell from the angle. Either increase the with of the timber uprights each side or pull it forward slightly. Cosentino have graphic resources on their website for Dekton and Silestone worktopshttps://www.silestone.co.uk/downloads/# ... s-graphics, some images are better than others but at least they are actual products.
Like the renders though and good real life detail.
Not bad for a beginner..............

I flat out like them both for artistic impression. The green marble is not too bad either. :whoot:

I thought it was clear from my post that second image is the real photo!

So I will update with a few tweaks to some details, including the green marble countertop. Some backsplash boards on the counters and some glass behind the stove.

( Thanks for the great design tips - no worries about the fridge door as there's a 3" space between the door and the adjacent wall. It's not my kitchen design, I'm just re-creating it. )

your comments/suggestions still welcome.

Yes, I changed the wood texture completely, but I will try to tweak the wood to remove obvious repeating.

I'm thinking I will post this kitchen here for you to feel free to try to render for yourselves. ;)

Here's my version, hope you like it.

I'm sorry, I thought I was making a clear joke but it seems I did not. The joke is clearly on me today. Sorry. :hat:

I, too, find my sarcasm doesn't translate well to digital communication. :hat:
No worries.
