1. HDRI
2. Bigger windows
3. Bigger picture on the wall
4. More shininess on the floor
5. DOF
6. Plant in the foreground
7. Vignette in PS Express
8. Charm filter in PS Express
9. Hazzy 30%

are you shure with the size of the window? 1,40 meters hight? looks out of scale compared to the chair.

@Mike - that helps integrate the bench, but it's still missing some shadow to help ground it.

@Slotly - looking pretty good :!: The blur and vignette can hide some sins, but can also create an interesting atmosphere. the position of the sun is really nice here.

What would you change in this scene to improve the photo-realism in Twilight Render with this scene?
Here are a couple additional things one could do:
Lift the wall base trim off the floor 1/4" or .5 cm and bevel leading edge near floor - get shadow edge along floor under trim
Pull the base away from the wall about the same amount bevel edge nearest wall - get shadow edge along wall behind trim
Get better plant model - it is too low poly
Move planter and Shelves away from adjacent surfaces to get shadow line.
More interesting/realistic objects on shelves
Work on material on wall base trim.
If zoomed out add realistic trim model around door.
Higher quality black picture frame shape with a nicer-looking profile.
Tilt picture hanging on the wall a little forward as would hang in real life.

In my opinion, sharpening the render enhances the edges. Photorealism is stronger. And origanal blur is not the result of DOF.

Skylights added. Not happy with the concrete but I shall leave it for someone else now.
