Played around with this off and on,,, think I finally got something kind of cool. Added some bits and pieces to the model. Biggest change was eliminating the sky portal behind the camera and added two point lights out in front of the "throne" to give a little more highlight there. Post pro in Gimp.

Hi Tuna, looks interesting so far. It has a good atmosphere going.

I think you could take it further if you were to look at some similar spaces for inspiration from movies or archeology and historical websites.
