New subject

Going to be a much bigger project with lots of luvverly space rather than the rabbit hutches I usually do. Just testing the ability to see a working scene at the moment.

Yes, the whites are toned down, a bit.

Thank you. I have added walls and a roof upstairs with a stairwell light to clean up the illumination and changed the finish for the glass wall so I am hoping this is better. I am thinking the storyline would be an estate agent closing a sale so really need a briefcase somewhere in the render and some steam from the mugs. I tried glass mugs but the effect was not great.

Looks like a great start for a quality image.

The 2x4 flat ceiling lights look strange if this is a residential space.
There is also some heavy color bounce happening up onto the ceiling - my guess is from the countertop. Maybe need to desaturate the reflection color in the metal.

Maybe look at Pinterest or Houzz for some examples of similar spaces to see what sorts of items would be positioned for the most elegant presentation. People unfortunately, while prized by architects in their renderings, immediately make a scene look less realistic, and adding steam would not likely help to "trick" any eye.

Learning to stage props in a scene (either for 3D or in arch. photog.) is a skill that can be learned with diligence.
