Track Lights - model for download

Post by Fletch » Tue Oct 06, 2020 7:43 pm

Chair model from the 3D warehouse (hence the segmented curves) - but there are no segmented curves on these lovely models of spot lights / track lights.

These little spot track lights are available for Pro users here.

So, what do you think?

The original image posted above was lit only with the spot lights themselves, and this HDR image:
Subject: Free Studio HDRi Spherical Sky image

This rendering however seeks to add "pop" to the image - using a gradient light right-to-left in the background and a second highlighting light on the left creating a gradient of light along the surface of the white track, as well as a third highlight light to the right just in front of the camera to highlight the foreground rectangular surface of the track, as well as the foreground spot.

Also, the weld angle on the stainless steel material has been changed (lowered) so that the cylindrical shapes appear sharper and less rounded.

Pro's and cons to both, the first has more defined light units whereas the second appears to be a more balanced render, to me at least.

Overlay lines style can look great. :)
